Hello, my name is Mary Cole Cerrone. I am a clinical social worker with over 20 years experience in the field of mental health. I received my Master's in Social Work from Temple University and later attended The Family Institute of Philadelphia, a 3-year post graduate program focusing on working with individuals, couples, and family systems.
I have worked in child welfare and have experience related to issues of loss and separation, foster care, adoption, family preservation and reunification.
I work with adults wherever they are in their life cycle including career development, marriage, parenting and the art of aging.
My therapeutic approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, solution based therapy, mindfulness, and acceptance. I believe there is a strong mind-body connection and that self-care is essential to healing.
For me, being a therapist is a privilege and an opportunity to help others live their best lives.
