I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and have over 25 years of experience working with adults, children, families and couples. I have worked in outpatient, residential and school settings. I work with issues including anxiety, depression, and adjustment to life transitions.
My approach is to create a non-judgmental safe and empathic environment so that a therapeutic relationship can be established. I believe that a trusting relationship with clients is the most important element in a helping relationship.
My therapy orientation is eclectic because I don't believe that one size fits all. I draw on techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewed and Solution Focused Therapies to help people lead more fulfilling and productive lives and find a sense of empowerment and well-being.
