REBECCA SEAMON, LPC
Hi and welcome! I’m glad you’re here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in education. I have been practicing for over 20 years and have a background in special education as a teacher, counselor, and parent.
I provide a safe and nurturing environment to help individuals, couples, and families on their journey toward better health and a living life at their greatest potential. My clients say they find me to be warm and genuine as well as actively engaged and responsive in therapy. They appreciate help getting “unstuck” and feel empowered by developing practical strategies and applying meaningful practices into their daily lives.
I offer individual, couples, and family counseling (ages 13+) and specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, stress management, shame resiliency, grief, life transitions parenting and behavior issues, and special needs/differences. I also am fluent in American Sign Language and work with Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing clients.
My primary mode of therapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I am also trained in EMDR (www.emdria.org) and certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Imago Therapy (www.imagorealtionships.org) and the Daring Way (www.brenebrown.com). In addition, I often integrate mindfulness exercises and art activities to enhance therapy.
I look forward to hearing from you and learning how I can help guide you on your healing journey toward living life in full bloom.
