MATTHEW WEINER, LPC
As a licensed professional counselor, I focus on first building a strong therapeutic relationship with all of my clients. I have a history of helping people with issues ranging from dealing with daily anxiety to substance abuse problems. My diverse treatment background allows me to work with clients encountering a wide range of challenges. I am experienced in working with adults, adolescents, and families. My training in both cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic treatment allows me to tailor practices to your needs. By putting the focus on your own thoughts and feelings, I am able to offer a person-centered and individualized approach to therapy.
Since the completion of my graduate studies at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, I have pursued two major specializations, working with survivors of trauma and helping individuals suffering from chronic medical issues. I have received a certificate in Trauma Studies from Chestnut Hill College and supervision in psychodynamic therapy.
