I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience providing outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents and their families. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Eastern University and M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. I approach therapy with my clients from a systems approach because individuals are part of larger systems that influence how they navigate life. I have experience with several therapeutic practices, such as play therapy for younger children, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as an approach with adolescents, and as I work with families I primarily use Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT). Through my experience working with children and families, I have also become certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) which is an evidence-based therapy model targeting children ages 2-7 who have behavioral challenges. I enjoy working with all age groups and varying family systems. My goal is to help my clients identify negative or unhealthy patterns in their lives and develop healthier skills to enhance their relationships and all domains of their life.
